    Around Umbria

I love to go around Umbria: it’s the Italian region near Latium, only one hour away from Rome. As I wrote in the past, I feel very tight to this area because I came here a lot with my family. Now I still visit this area which I believe it offers everything. It has history, architecture, landscapes and great food…do we really need anything else? I believe that the Medieval villages are the most relevant treasure of Umbria. They are all in great conditions, while they maintain their charm. What feels amazing to me, is that people actually live there. It might sound obvious, but if we think about it…

    How to wear statement jewelry

Statement jewelry is absolutely gorgeous, this is something we can all agree to. While the necklaces are widely used in high fashion, the question is how are ordinary people going to wear them? I  have this idea that statement jewelry looks fabulous on a minimal outfit. For the current season, a statement necklace can be a pop up of light underneath our coats. Where can you find this absolutely gorgeous jewelry that I’m wearing? At Happiness Boutique of course! I have the greatest news for all of you readers. From January 31st to March 1st, for the orders over 19 euros you can have 10% of discount by adding the code…

    Aperitif Outfit

Spring is a magical season, I almost can’t recognize Rome with all these cherry blossoms. This post is dedicated to Carmen’s comment on the post Ask Alessia, thank you Carmen for asking to post an aperitif outfit. If anyone else wants to ask me what to wear, please feel free to get in touch with me and I’ll post an outfit on my blog as a response.  Now let’s see what Carmen said. “¡Holà Alessia! I’m an erasums student from Zaragoza (España). I leave in Milan and I’m attending Bocconi University. The other day I was invited to a well known elegant and italian APERITIVO!!! I don’t know how to…

    Ask Alessia

I’ve received an email from a girl that inspired me to create this new category “Ask Alessia“.  You can ask me to create an outfit for you, and I’ll share the pictures. I’m going to rename Sara the girl that wrote me, just to protect her privacy. The original email was in Italian, so I’m going to translate the email for you. Sara wrote me this: “Hi Alessia, I really like your blog and I’d like you to suggest me how to dress. I’ve recently bought a faux leather jacket but I don’t know how to wear it without looking too punk/gothic.” In our exchanges of emails she told me…

    Wynwood Walls

Wynwood Walls: I’ve seen them on Instagram,  I got lost in the Design District trying to find them, I’ve searched the one that looked best with my outfit, and here I am publishing the photos! Wynwood is a neighbor where you can find all the amazing street art. The yellow Camaro Cheverolet is also in the pictures, it somehow completed the Wynwood’s atmosphere. It’s the convertible Camaro that you probably saw on my Instagram video while I was driving it. Two of the pictures of this post have been taken in Miami Downtown by the sea. I’m wearing: Louis Vuitton Speedy Azur Silvian Heach top Zara Pants Car: Camaro Cheverolet

    Brickell Miami

Today I’m showing you a tiny spot of Brickell, a new area of Miami filled with beautiful and modern skyscrapers. I was surprised to see that each building has some details that would make it look different from the others. So, as you can imagine, I was always looking up while walking around. In this area there is a mall called Brickell City Centre, which is new and has a modern design (you can see on my Instagram), there are a lot stores, including the ones with european brands. If you are looking for european luxury brands, this mall is the right place to go. Since I’ve spent some time in…

    Winter in Miami

First of all, I would like to wish happy holidays to all of you! I can’t believe that this is winter in Miami, considering that only two weeks ago I was freezing in Rome, I feel like I’ve been fast-forwarded straight to summer. It feels weird to spend the Christmas Holidays in the heat of Miami while Rome is still cold and rainy. This is the very first time that I travel to a tropical area during winter. I’m very happy about this special winter in Miami.  You have already seen this outfit on Instagram but here there are more pictures! I’ve created an outfit like that last summer but…

    Miami

I’m in Miami! I’ve been looking forward to this trip for months, and I am finally here. I’ve been in Florida many years ago, so I couldn’t remember all the details of Miami, but I did remember the vibe of this beautiful city. I’ve already shared some pictures around Miami and Fort Lauderdale on my Instagram, feel free to check them out! Before I came here, I was so happy about the wardrobe I was taking with me. Short sleeves t-shirts, shorts, skirts…this is the place to go on December.  Also check out another post where I am actually at the beach enjoying the winter that looks like summer! I’m…

    Sabon

Few days ago I bought this shower gel and cream from Sabon, I’m now writing about it. I came to know about Sabon last year when I’ve received a Levander shower gel as a present, and I absolutely loved it! This line of shower gel has small pieces of rice that work like a scrub, it makes this product unique. Sabon has also scrubs. The difference between these products is in their components, because the scrub is made with salt and this shower gel has rise. What I love the most of this Sabon shower gel is its perfume, which contains Levander, Patchouli and Vanilla. There are many products with…

    Autumn days

It doesn’t matter what the calendar says, I’ve always felt like autumn and spring are the shortest seasons. This year we are so lucky, we are getting such a nice and warm autumn here in Italy. The perfect item for this season is the foulard, which is not as warm as a scarf, and it adds some color to the outfit. There are so many foulards with different colors and different patterns. This is why it’s impossible not to find your favorite. This time I’m wearing matching accessories, both the pochette and the foulard are from Alviero Martini Prima Classe. The pochette is a wonderful present from my dearest friend…
