What tv shows are on Netflix – Quali serie vedere su Netflix

Which tv show should you watch on Netflix? The image with the t-shirt is so cute, the credits go to Bianca Pitton, I found it on Pinterest. When it comes to Netflix, I can definitely rely to that sweater. There is a lot of choice and sometimes it’s hard to choose which tv show to watch. These are the ones that I have already watched and that I wouldn’t mind watching again. Don’t worry, there are no spoilers here! 

These shows reflect my taste in movies, these somehow fall into the  thriller’s category.

It’s a tv show that gets you addicted. It’s different from the others because each episode is like a short movie, the stories are not connected with each other, or not apparently at least. There are three seasons on Netflix.

It’s about how the humans react to technology, some episodes are contemporary  while others are in the future.

Some sceneries are quite disturbing, probably because there is a real chance that these could become true.

My opinion: Black Mirror shows how technology can  overcome our weaknesses as human being, without necessarily improve our lives. It gives the opportunity to think how technology and progress go together with perversion.

Expectations: It’s not a tv show for kids, some episodes are not for teenager neither. Don’t always expect an happy ending.  The quality of the show is high, the stories are good and intriguing. Also there are some well known names among the actors of Black Mirror.

Revenge

This tv show is one of my favorite. I love the story and  all the complicated characters in it. A girl is working to get some billionaire’s world to collapse.

Revenge is the story of the beautiful Amanda Clark/Emily Thorne.

She uses her double identity to get revenge from the people who ruined her life. Her father was framed by powerful people,  and he went to jail for a crime that he didn’t commit. Emily/Amanda is willing to do anything  to prove her father’s innocence.

The main character is beautifully plaid by the talented Emily VanCamp. The other main female character is her enemy Vitoria, a powerful woman who had a crucial role in her father’s story.

Amanda/Emily is not alone, she has her best friend who happens to be a talented hacker and a famous billionaire entrepreneur.

13 Reasons Why

It’s a sad story, you know from episode 1 that there is not going to be an happy ending.

Hanna Baker sends 13 tapes before she commits suicide. These tapes are addressed to each person that was   involved in her choice of committing suicide.

We see the story from Clay’s side, Hanna’s former class mate, colleague and friend. He is also on Hanna Baker’s tapes and, while listening, he finds out what truly happened to her. I’m not here to spoil the details.

My opinion:  it’s not a typical teenage drama, but it’s a must-see for everyone. It made me realize that most of the times we see a person everyday, and we have no idea what that person is going through. It’s a must see for high schoolers, which are often victims or witnesses of acts of bullism at school. But it’s even more important that the parents of teenagers see 13 Reasons Why. There is a scary truth shown: most of the parents have no idea of what their kids are doing. 

Some of the tapes are addressed to the people who directly hurted Hanna, while others are addressed to the people that knew but didn’t do anything at all.

Orphan Black

I’m afraid that anything that I say could be a spoiler. It’s a science thriller fiction. Orphan Black has an intriguing story that involves a bunch of girls who are all identical to each others.

They all find themselves cooperating, but they have completely different personalities and lifestyles. These identical girls have to struggle to survive while trying to discover the truth of their origins.

Tatiana Maslany is the main actress, she has a huge talent. It mustn’t be easy to play so many different roles in every episode. I was impressed by her ability to switch the accents, she is absolutely brilliant as an actress. I’m not an expert, but each character has also it’s own mimics and movements.

Also the make up artists and the hairstylists who worked on this show, did a great job.

Mindhunter

One season of 10 episodes to watch on Netflix. Mindhunter is a crime drama where an FBI agent catch the criminals through the study of their psychological issues. The genre reminds me a lot of Criminal Minds, which I am a huge fan of.

Mindhunter is set in 1977, it shows the start of criminal profiling at the FBI. If you like crime dramas, the 70s, psychological thrillers: this tv show is for you!

Una scusa valida per evitare gli obblighi sociali.” Che dire, mi trovo d’accordo con la felpa. Ci sono così tante serie da guardare su Netflix, ma quali scegliere? Questa è una breve lista di serie che ho guardato e che non mi dispiacerebbe guardare ancora. Tranquilli, non c’è pericolo di spoiler!

Black Mirror

È una serie particolare, che incuriosisce. È molto diversa dalle serie a cui siamo abituati perché ogni episodio ha una storia propria, non connessa con le altre, o almeno non in modo palese.

Vengono ipotizzati degli scenari futuri, alcuni ambientati in epoca attuale, mentre altri sono lontani dalla nostra realtà.

Alcuni episodi sono decisamente inquietanti, soprattutto perché si potrebbero davvero materializzare nella nostra vita.

La mia opinione: Black Mirror ci mostra come la tecnologia ci permetta di superare le nostre debolezze umane, senza necessariamente migliorare le nostre vite. Ci offre l’opportunità di riflettere su come la tecnologia e il progresso vadano di pari passo con la perversione umana.

Aspettative: Black Mirror non è una serie per bambini, alcuni episodi secondo me non sono adatti nemmeno ai teenagers. Non aspettatevi il lieto fine, non sempre ci sarà. La qualità degli episodi è alta, le storie sono ben sviluppate e gli attori sono di un alto livello. Spesso troverete volti noti del mondo dello spettacolo

 Revenge

Revenge è tra le mie serie preferite. Mi piace molto la storia e il carattere complicato di ognuno dei personaggi. È la storia di una ragazza che si impegna per far crollare il mondo di certi milionari.

Revenge è la storia della bella Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne.

Il piano è quello di usare la sua doppia identità per vendicarsi delle persone che le hanno rovinato la vita. Infatti il padre è stato condannato per un crimine che non ha mai commesso.

Amanda/Emily per quattro stagioni cercherà di provare l’innocenza di suo padre, cercando di distruggere le persone colpevoli di averlo fatto diventare il loro capro espiatorio.

Il personaggio principale è interpretato dalla bravissima Emily VanCamp, mentre il suo alter ego è Madeleine Stowe che interpreta il personaggio di Victoria.

Victoria è una donna potente, che ha avuto un ruolo cruciale nella storia che ha portato il padre a finire in carcere. Emily/Amanda non è da sola, ad aiutarla ci sarà il suo amico Nolan: imprenditore milionario che si rivela essere un hacker che prova lo stesso disprezzo di Emily verso queste persone.

13 Reasons Why

La storia è molto triste, sin dal primo episodio sapete che la storia non avrà un lieto fine.

Hanna Baker invia 13 nastri con i motivi per cui ha  commesso suicidio. Li invia alle persone che sono sui nastri, tutti quelli che hanno avuto un ruolo nella sua decisione finale.

Noi vediamo la storia dal punto di vista di Clay, suo compagno di classe, collega di lavoro e amico. Anche lui si trova su uno dei nastri di Hanna Baker, e solo ascoltando capisce cosa è realmente accaduto alla sua amica.

La mia opinione: non è il tipico teenage drama, anzi, offre molti spunti di riflessione. Tutti dovrebbero vederlo, specialmente adesso con il dilagare del triste fenomeno di bullismo nelle scuole. Mi ha fatto pensare che spesso vediamo una persona e non immaginiamo neanche che cosa stia passando. Dovrebbero vederlo tutti gli studenti delle scuole superiori, sia per le vittime di bullismo, sia per le persone che vedono ma non fanno nulla. In particolar modo vorrei che lo vedessero i genitori di ragazzi che vanno al liceo, questo telefilm mostra una realtà: spesso i genitori non hanno idea di cosa facciano i loro figli. 

I nastri sono indirizzati alle persone che hanno fatto del male ad Hanna, ma anche a quelle che sapevano ma che hanno scelto di non fare nulla.

 Orphan Black

Ho paura che qualsiasi cosa io scriva possa essere uno spoiler. È una fiction scientifica dal genere thriller. Orphan Black ha una storia davvero intrigante, nella quale un gruppo di ragazze sono tutte identiche.

Si trovano coinvolte in una situazione che le costringerà a collaborare per sopravvivere, superando le loro differenze caratteriali. Infatti queste ragazze nonostante siano fisicamente uguali, hanno personalità e stili di vita completamente diversi. Oltre alla loro sopravvivenza, le ragazze ricercheranno qualcosa che le accomuna: ovvero  le origini del loro aspetto.

Tatiana Maslany è la giovane attrice che ha interpretato tutti i ruoli delle ragazze. È stata davvero brava, avendo guardato questa serie in lingua inglese, devo dire che l’attrice ha davvero molto talento, specialmente nel  cambiare gli accenti. Tra i personaggi infatti, Tatiana Maslany interpreta una ragazza inglese, una americana e una dell’Europa dell’Est. Ogni ruolo interpretato ha una sua mimica facciale e dei movimenti ben precisi, l’attrice di è calata perfettamente nella parte di ogni singolo personaggio di tutte le puntate della serie.

Mindhunter

Mindhunter è una serie di dieci epsodi. È una serie dedicata al crimine, ambientata nel 1977, Il protagonista è un agente dell’FBI che si impegna a risolvere i casi cercando di comprendere le ragioni psicologiche dietro ogni crimine.

È sulla scia di Criminal Minds, di cui sono una grande fan. Se già avete visto Criminal Minds. e se vi è piaciuto, di sicuro Mindhunter non vi deluderà. Si parla infatti delle origini del profiling dei criminali nell’FBI.

Se vi piacciono i crimini a sfondo psicologico e le ambientazioni anni ’70: questa serie è per voi!
