I would like to share with you the products that I use on daily basis, and they are all Cruelty Free and Vegan. I’ve had no idea that body lotions and body wash products were tested on animals, luckily there are some brands that don’t do this kind of things. I’ve always condemned the idea of animal abuse in general, but when it comes to cosmetics I feel that their pain is so unnecessary. These body products are truly amazing and I’ve been using some of these brands for years, I feel like sharing them because their quality is good and their philosophy help the animals. I will be publishing very soon the cruelty free products that I use on my face, but this post is all about body skincare.
Let’s start with the Cruelty Free body lotions and oils in the picture below.
The two lotions are from italian brands L’Erbolario and I Provenzali they are Made in Italy and have only organic products, without parabens and silicons. The first one on the left smells like roses, while the one in the middle smells like Almond and contains Karité Oil, it’s good if you want to keep your skin elastic.
The oil from I Provenzali is an Almond Oil, I remember that I’ve bought it with the body lotion and I like to use few drops of oil with the lotion. Almond oil helps to maintain your skin’s elasticity, especially if you are changing your body shape, it will help to prevent stretch marks in a natural way. I also like to use almond oil for my hair when they are too dry, and then I proceed with the shampoo.
The Coconut Oil from Shea Moisture is something that I truly love, I use it every time I get out of the shower. I’ve used it on my hair and face too, I bought it at Target when I was in Miami, so if you live in the US it will be very easy for you to find it. I was very excited when I bought it because I can’t find coconut oil anywhere in Italy.
In the picture below there are the Cruelty Free Body Wash and Deodorant that I like to use.
The first on the left is from Benecos, a german brand whose products are all natural and don’t harm your skin. This one is a body peeling that I like to use after the body wash, it smells like apricot.
The bottle in the middle is a shower gel from the italian brand Fattoria di Belcanto.
The one next to it is a liquid deodorant from Lavera, which is a german brand. I bought it in a pharmacy in Rome, but you can buy online on their website. Lavera has a lot of vegan skincare products, they look very tempting to me, but for now I’ve only tried this deodorant, it’s very gentle on my skin and it smells good.
The Cruelty Free logo that you have to look for is the one with the rabbit, or you might also find the Vegan sign. This is how it looks like (in the picture below).

Vorrei mostrarvi alcuni prodotti per il corpo che non sono stati testati su animali, sono prodotti che uso tutti i giorni, alcuni da diverso tempo. Sinceramente non immaginavo che addirittura le creme e i bagnoschiuma fossero testati sugli animali, per fortuna ci sono alcuni brand che non applicano questa pratica. Non mi è mai piaciuta l’idea di sfruttare gli animali in generale, ma se si tratta di cosmetici mi sembra ancora peggio, non lo trovo necessario.
Nella foto di sotto ci sono creme e oli per il corpo.
La prima crema a sinistra è di L’Erbolario, profuma di rosa. Questa crema in particolare mi è stata regalata dalla mia cara amica Claudia che, come me, condivide gli stessi ideali.
La crema che si trova al centro è di I Provenzali e profuma di mandorle, è arricchita con burro di Karité, è ottima se per qualche motivo il vostro corpo sta cambiando forma, aiuta a prevenire le smagliature. Vicino la crema c’è l’olio di mandorle, anche questo di I Provenzali, ricordo di averli comprati insieme. Mi piace usare alcune gocce di quest’olio insieme alla crema, lo uso per mantenere l’elasticità della pelle e a volte l’ho usato anche per il viso e come maschera per i capelli.
L’olio di cocco di Shea Moisture, l’ho acquistato da Target mentre ero a Miami. Dalle recensioni sul loro sito potete vedere che tutti i clienti risultano soddisfatti, io stessa mi trovo molto bene e lo uso principalmente dopo aver fatto la doccia.
Nella foto di sotto ci sono bagnoschiuma e deodorante cruelty free.
Il primo a sinistra è un body peeling alla pesca, di Benecos, una marca tedesca che non testa su animali e usa solo prodotti che non danneggiano la pelle. I prodotti sono disponibili online sul loro sito.
Al centro c’è il bagnoschiuma di Fattoria di Belcanto, made in Italy e non testato su animali.
A destra invece c’è il deodorante di Lavera, una marca tedesca che mi piace molto. La maggior parte dei loro cosmetici non sono testati sugli animali, anche questo deodorante riporta la scritta Vegan. Ricordo di averlo acquistato in farmacia, ma potete trovarli nei negozi Bio oppure possono essere acquistati online.
Ma come si fa a capire se i prodotti sono testati sugli animali? Nella foto di sotto ci sono i loghi che trovate di solito, il più usato è quello del coniglio, mentre alcuni brand preferiscono la scritta Vegan.
