Good Morning! Yesterday I had the honour to partecipate to the Ceremony of the Graduation of the students of the most important and ancient school of cinema in Italy: the National School of Cinema of Rome. Many important actors were there yesterday to congratulate with the students who graduated, such as Claudia Cardinale, Giancarlo Giannini and Carlo Verdone. During the ceremony were also given the diplomas Honoris Causa to three very talented people in the italian movies industries: Roberto Perpignani, Gabriella Pescucci and Paolo Sorrentino. I’m going to show you some pictures of the evening, and there will be a surprise at the end of the post!
Grey Goose is one of the sponsor that support the National School of Cinema, they have already donated 15 scholarships to the best students of the school. In the upper photo, PR Manager of Bacardi Barbara Herlitzka talks about the project “A Talent Beyond”, which aims to support the best students of this prestigious school. Grey Goose Vodka will also assign a special prize: “An Acting Talent Beyond”, this prize will be assigned during the Venice Film Festival. During the Venice Festival, Grey Goose Vodka will ask the celebrities to sign the bottles for the students who received the scholarship, as a sign of good luck!
In the two pictures below, the actors Gabriella Pescucci and Roberto Perpignani are receiving their well deserved diplomas Honoris Causa.
After the Ceremony I took a moment to take some photos of this important school.
And now the surprise!
At the end of the Ceremony I’ve had the honour to meet Paolo Sorrentino, who won the Oscar Award for the best foreign film “The Great Beauty”, just after he received his Diploma Honoris Causa (he is holding it). Of course I’m a huge fan of his work.
