I’m going to tell you the natural remedies for the flu that I have tested on myself. Make sure that if you are sick, you will see a doctor. The best natural remedies for the flu are a mix of lemons, honey and ginger. One day my boyfriend and I got sick with the flu. We had all the symptoms of the flu, such as sore throat and and the cold. I’ve prepared a ginger and lemon tisane, and to each mug I’ve added: the juice of half lemon, one spoon of honey, ginger in powder. I’ve mixed the whole thing until the honey melted, then we both drank our tisanes. We fell asleep for a couple of hours and when we woke up we felt a lot better.

The flu symptoms were relieved, so we only had to take an aspirine in the evening and the next day we were healthy again. Usually lemons, ginger and honey are used alone to fight the flu, but with this tisane you can use them all together.

Remember that preventing is a lot better than curing. The lemon diet: it lasts 14 days and you are going to need a lot of lemons in order to boost your Vitamin C. In this way you will work on the  prevention of the cold and the flu. Also your skin is going to gain an healthier look.

This is how it works: you start your morning with the juice of one lemon, and every morning you add one lemon until you get to 7 lemons. After that, you remove one lemon each morning until you get to one again.

Note that when you get to 4 lemons, you can split them during the day. I used to drink the juice of three lemons in the morning and the others after lunch. Avoid drinking more than three lemons’ juice each time.

This should be the first thing you drink in the morning and for a better result you shouldn’t eat or drink anything else for 30 minutes.

The seven lemon diet will change your morning routine for 14 days.

The best time to do this diet is  during the change of season. My experience: after the few days I felt better and I didn’t need the coffe anymore.

One of the best ways to prevent yourself from getting the cold and flu, is to get Vitamin C. If you don’t feel like changing your morning routine with the lemons diet, you can still get it from other foods.

I’ll tell you right away where to find Vitamin C.

Citrus fruits: lemons, oranges, tangerines.

Exotic fruit: pineapple, papaya.

Vegetables: cauliflowers, broccoli, tomatoes.

If you include them in your diet, your body will stay healthy and you will only benefit from them.

By assuring the right amount of Vitamin C in your body, you will prevent scurvy disease. This is the result of a lack of vitamin C.
