In this post I’m going to tell you how to exfoliate your face. There are so many ways to do that, you can buy a specific product from your favorite brand. You can also use natural ingredients that you already have in your kitchen. These are both good for the exfoliation of your skin. Why exfoliate your face? For few but very important reasons.
- It helps removing the dead cells of the skin while they are on the first layer.
- The exfoliation helps to keep your skin clean and regenerated.
- It prevents your skin from wrinkles, or at least it helps to slow down their appearance on your face.
Few advices about exfoliating your skin’s face with a scrub.
- Don’t scrub your face more than once a week.
- Don’t use the scrub on your eye circles, it’s a delicate area of your face.
- You can do the scrub on your lips, read below “How to exfoliate face with sugar”.
Apply your favorite hydrating face cream: I always feel like it absorbs a lot better after a scrub.
Daily Exfoliating Face Scrub from Sabon
I’m in love with this product! It’s my favorite beauty product at this moment, I literally can’t go anywhere without it. Why? Because it’s one of the rare scrubs that you can use everyday. It presents itself as a bottle with Pearl Powder inside. It also smells really good. When you take it out, it looks like sand so all you need to do is add few drops of water and it turns into a mousse. At this point you gently scrub your face with it and then you wash it off.
Personal experience: It’s very easy to use. I love it because it make me feel clean and fresh, I really like to use it at night before I go to sleep. Sometimes I still have some acne, this helps to remove red spots.

You can also exfoliate face with natural ingredients.
The good thing is that everyone has these natural ingredients in its own kitchen. It’s natural, easy to do and cheap, so why not to try this?
Raw sugar and Coconut Oil: I like to use a tea spoon of raw sugar and two tea spoons of coconut oil. It’s very easy to make this scrub: you only need to mix these two ingredients and then you can scrub your face.
I use it when I feel that my skin needs to be hydrated. As a matter of fact, the coconut oil will hydrate while the sugar is exfoliating.
After I have washed my skin, I still feel like the coconut oil is still there, and my skin feels nourished.
Remember to use this type of scrub only once a week.
This scrub is also good to exfoliate your hands and your body. I also use it to scrub my lips. Not many people know much they need to exfoliate lips, and this scrub is perfect for this purpose.
Personally, I use raw sugar with coconut oil because it’s my favorite, but you can also use Avocado Oil or Olive Oil. The process is always the same.
The reason why I love this scrub is that I truly feel like I’m taking care of myself. I really encourage you to prepare your own beauty product and use it because, besides the result, it makes you feel happier.
